Biography
My name is Kendra Johnson, and my creative work—which I call "Culture Couture"—is fueled by a passion for color and abstract art.
My vision is to create in my own light while encouraging those around me, especially the youth. Afrocentric designs, patterns, colors, and fabrics are at the root of my process. I also incorporate graffiti art and spray paint on leather as a form of expressive thinking, drawing from my cultural background and experiences growing up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
"Street Couture" is my authentic self-expression. I hope you enjoy what I bring to the table and find it both fruitful and fulfilling.
